Pike County, Illinois

Pike County is located in West Central Illinois. It is named for Zebulon Pike, an American Explorer.
The seat and largest city are Pitttsfield. The county is bordered by the Mississippi River.
Pike County borders Adams, Brown, Scott, Morgan, Calhoun and Greene Counties in Illinois, along Marion, Pike and Ralls Counties in Missouri.
Main highways through the county include I-72, I-172, US-36, US-54, IL-57, IL-96 and IL-100.
